Mandandan respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when providing travel lists, return checks, ticket screenshot recognition, weather references, leaving-home reminders, widgets, Dynamic Island, Lock Screen Live Activities, and iCloud sync.
Information We Process
- Trip and checklist information, such as trip names, destinations, dates, items, completion states, templates, and custom content.
- Ticket information when you choose to import or recognize a ticket screenshot, including flight or train details, time, location, and seat information.
- Weather-related information, such as destination, travel dates, and parameters required to show destination weather and outfit hints.
- Location information only when you enable leaving-home reminders, so the app can determine whether you have left a configured area.
- Notification and Live Activity information used to show trip countdown, packing progress, and unfinished priorities.
- Purchase status obtained through Apple StoreKit to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.
How We Use Information
We use the information above only to provide and improve core app features, including checklist creation, trip display, ticket recognition, packing reminders, weather references, leaving-home checks, system-level reminders, and purchase restoration.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your trip, ticket, or checklist content for advertising profiles.
Local Storage and iCloud
Mandandan primarily stores trip and checklist data on your device. If you enable iCloud or system sync, related data may sync across your Apple devices through Apple iCloud services. iCloud storage and transmission are also governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
Weather queries, App Store purchases, and iCloud sync may depend on Apple or weather data providers. We send only the minimum information required for the relevant feature, such as destination, date, purchase state, or system sync data.
Permissions
- Notifications are used for departure reminders, unfinished checklist reminders, and system-level status updates.
- Location is used only when you enable leaving-home reminders.
- Photo or screenshot access is used only when you choose to import ticket screenshots for recognition.
Children’s Privacy
Mandandan is designed for general travel preparation and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information without guardian consent, please contact us.
